Here Comes The Bride...

Updated: Jun 27, 2023

Your wedding day is up there as one of the most important days of your life - so of course you want to look and feel your best. Bridal Beauty Evolutions are some of our favourite treatment plans for exactly this reason. The most important part of any plan is making sure you have adequate time to execute it. Most of our brides start their evolutions at least one year prior to their wedding date, because as you know its not usually just the wedding, there are engagement dinners, showers and bachelorette parties.

Consider this chart your guideline, but know that every evolution (and every bride) is unique, and your plan will include treatments and products that are tailored to your skin, your concerns, your goals and your timelines.

If skin laxity is on your list, it's important to know that collagen production takes time. Morpheus8 is usually completed in a series of 3 treatments spread out 4 weeks apart, with results typically seen in 3-4 months. If pigmentation or redness is a concern, our combination treatment, Glow Getter is a great way to even out skin tone and reduce the appearance of pores.

When it comes to dermal filler, the range is really dependent on what you are trying to achieve. If it is structure and full facial balancing, starting earlier is ideal as it can be broken up into multiple appointments. Same goes for tox. If you are new to anti wrinkle injections, it is recommended to try it at least 6 months before your wedding to see how you like your results and to find your perfect dosage. While tox peaks at 2 weeks, most brides want some movement for their photos, so we recommend getting your pre-wedding anti-wrinkle injections between 4-6 weeks before your big day.

The Beauty Booster is one of Nurse Barb's favourite pre-event treatments because it helps to plump skin, and give your complexion an overall airbrushed appearance. Since there is a slight chance of bruising (it is a micro needling device), doing this treatment 3 weeks before your wedding will ensure that your skin is glowing, bright and bruise free for your wedding. Taking arnica beforehand is also a good idea.

The no downtime, all skin safe dermal infusion is our final pre-wedding go to. The diamond tip head will gently exfoliate away dead skin cells, extract dirt and debris and infuse your skin with a serum to brighten, clarify or hydrate your skin. A Dermal infusion can be completed any time the week of your wedding, leaving you with a beautiful palette for your wedding day make-up.

We can't wait to share more of our beautiful brides to be with you over the course of the next few months. If you are getting married this year or next, we'd love help you on your Bridal Beauty Evolution.
